My character, Tame. Done in ink with a paintbrush, ink, water, paper towels and dip-ink pens. This is just another style I'm trying out. I have more examples in my "scraps" section. I generally like darker looks and dreamy/night-like stuff. Sorry of the low quality photo. I took this with my mobile phone.
That is a very interesting picture. I like it a lot. It's a favorite!

For one that is rich in life is not rich in their spirit. Our lives do not matter in this world, but we try to make the best of it anyways. only when we understand and not hold so dearly to worldly possesions, then we will be rich. Isaiah
Thanks! I think I want to stick with this style ~ maybe even try making a full comic in it. The character is also a favorite of mine... he looks good in ink^_^ .

Well, it's just ink... I used a mix of brushes and pens... oh, and water (more like ink on wet paper, really)... Just try playing around - that's how I did it
you know garage/grunge bands? I'm like a visual on of those ... there's probably a good and bad paper - but I just use what's at hand. I think this was a medium thickness sketch paper... Probably whatever people do water colours on would be good. Good luck!
